The Flamingo Project is a private initiative to create a new ecologically sensitive and low intensity destination of choice on the Dutch island of Bonaire in the Southern Caribbean. Target clients would be discerning and mindful travellers and residents. The objective is to place Bonaire in the ranks of exclusive locales like St. Barths, Mustique, Necker’s Island, Peter Island / British Virgin Islands, or Wakatobi / Bali. While targeting a global discerning audience, an important component of our strategy is to insure that the culture and heritage of Bonaire is preserved, and local residents benefit and participate in our future growth.
